In 1973 the ZG-series Fairlane was introduced by Ford with cosmetic changes over the previous ZF-series. With a longer wheelbase than the standard Ford Falcon & the choice of 4.9 litre or optional 5.8 litre V8’s, both driver & passengers new that they were being transported in something special.
