The ZJ Fairlane was a leap ahead into the new decade with squarer lines & rear quarter windows accentuating the new 6 window design for prestige Ford models. Traditional quad headlights & vertically striped taillights differentiated the luxury model further from the base Falcon. The large luxury car performed well with the option of two powerful V8’s. For those wanting economy a 6 cylinder motor was introduced by Ford later.
