This top of the line Falcon was offered with either 4.1 litre 6 cylinder or 4.9 litre V8 power plants. A more powerful 5.8 litre V8 was also an option. The XC range introduced upgraded suspension & brakes. The upmarket GXL also offered upgrades inside & out distinguishing it from the base model Falcon.
