The HJ range was announced in 1974 with improved equipment levels & options. The sporty GTS included front & rear spoilers as an option for the first time & the optional locally made 5 litre V8 was upped in compression to improve performance. Only limited numbers of the HJ were built making it one of the rarest variants of the Monaro.
