The P76 was undoubtedly Australia’s most controversial family car, despite winning Wheel’s magazine ‘Car of the Year’ in 1973. More P76 Supers were produced than any other model in the sedan range. Two engine options were available, a OHC six at 2623cc or the aluminium V8 at 4416cc. Boot capacity was a massive 36 cu ft.
