1959 Ford Fairlane 500 – Waratah Red

Australian assembled from parts sourced from Ford Canada. The 500 featured a booming 5.44 litre V8 developing 204 HP. Automatic transmission was standard. For ‘Aussies’ this was FORD luxury. This was the era of BIG. Big chrome bumpers and front grille. Three persons comfy across the front seat. A huge boot for loads of stuff.
